FWA is a long-established national charity that provides a variety of support services to families and individuals. The Tom Metcalfe Centre is a day centre for adults with learning difficulties who need opportunities to mix with other people, to make friends, to learn new skills and to develop hobbies and interests. The Centre offers a range of activities and opportunities to socialise and develop skills. Activities include arts and crafts, music, outings to the theatre. A copy of the Centre's Statement of Purpose can be made available to anybody interested in using the Centre. The Centre is open from Monday to Wednesday from 09.45 am to 3.45 pm.
