A quick walk around the shops. Coffee BreakEarly risers will go for Jolly's in the Market Place. In the High Street proper there are coffee shops either side of the Town Hall. If you're in Borough Parade when thirst strikes, pop around the back corner towards the car park where you will find Munro's Café Bar.At the top end of New Road (No 26), is Café Nova, . They do several varieties of coffee & tea plus a range of hot and cold snacks. Make a Meal of ItYou can find a fullish list of Cafés, Restaurants, Hotels & Pubs here.If you fancy a McDonald's Restaurant, there is a drive through on the edge of town, next to Sainbury's where the Western by-pass crosses the A4. Also on the A4 between the railway and the Pheasant roundabout a new Pizza Hut. Next door to the B&Q diy warehouse. At the northern end of the by-pass, where it meets the end of the dual carriageway from the M4 is a Little Chef. |
