The Devizes Millennium White Horse, now 7½ years of age, is to receive its first scouring the weekend of 14th/15th April 2007.

We invite as many people as possible from the surrounding communities to come and join forces on the site of the White Horse on Roundway Down, to help uproot the grasses, weeds and moss. All ages welcome!

We will foregather at 10am on Saturday 14th April. Car parking is available up by the field. Bring a picnic, garden forks, rakes, refuse bags and even a wheel barrow. The filled refuse bags can be taken to the Waste Disposal Site on the Hopton Estate. Should we not be able to complete the work on the Saturday, then we will continue on Sunday.
